RWCDF Luncheon - October 14, 2021

The Republican Women's Club of Duval Federated did it again. Another excellent informative and educational luncheon meeting on October 14th. The topic was Human Trafficking and our excellent speaker was Ruby Peters, a member of the Northeast Florida Human Trafficking Coalition Interfaith Network. Mrs. Peters has done presentations and educational events for many groups on topics of human trafficking and Catholic Social Teaching. Also speaking were Vickie Basra of the Delores Barr Weaver Policy Center speaking on the "See The Girl" program and a young woman who was involved in that program. Rachel White spoke on the work done to assist young women through "Her Song," a ministry of the Tim Tebow Foundation, and Lt. Scott Rammage of the JSO Integrity Unit spoke on the work being done to battle labor and sex trafficking in this area. The messages were sobering and the statistics were staggering. God bless every person and organization that are working to put a stop to this evil in the world.
