Women Wine & Wisdom - September 2021

On Tuesday this week, the RWCDF held another Women, Wine & Wisdom event at the Q Delicia restaurant on Southside Blvd. The topic this month was Legislative Training regarding the Florida House and Senate as they go about their work in Tallahassee each year. Our excellent speaker was our own president of the RWCDF, Esther Lyle Byrd, and she included information on the length of the sessions, how a bill becomes law, terms to know in the legislative process, how to follow bills that are important to us before they become law, and how to contact our elected officials. There were questions throughout the presentation and we learned so much about how to advocate for the issues that affect our lives and the lives of our family and community. These W3 meetings are the 4th Tuesday evening of every month and you do NOT want to miss them!!
