Our June 9th RWCDF luncheon featured three outstanding and inspirational speakers.  The Republican Quarterly Conference was being held the following 2 days here in Jacksonville, so these wonderful people came in early to speak at our luncheon.  First was Kathleen King, the National Committeewoman for Florida since 2017.  She spoke about the critical need to educate our citizens to the reality of the current administration and the damage it's doing to our country, and the importance of getting out the vote to bring Constitutional leadership back to Washington, DC and into state and all local offices down ballot as well.  Our second speaker was Nick Casillas (who also offered the invocation at the beginning the meeting) who most recently served as the Statewide Faith Engagement Coordinator on the Glenn Younkin for Governor campaign in Virginia.  He spoke of the importance of building relationships in the faith-based communities/churches to encourage people to vote their values and support family and faith candidates.  Our third speaker was John Vick (who also led us in the Pledge of Allegiance) and he is the National Director of Military Outreach.  Each of these speakers emphasized the need for each and every one of us to not only vote in every single election, but also work to get as many values-based voters to the polls as possible to elect our values-based candidates!  It really is up to each of us to do our duty for our country.  Our Public Defender Charlie Cofer gave us a short update on Sheriff Mike Williams.  Many candidates introduced themselves and were given a minute or two to speak.  A person cannot attend our luncheons without coming away better educated, better informed - and therefore, a better citizen.  Next luncheon is on Thursday, July 14th.  Watch for the event sign up and we'll see you there!!
